The 10 Vero App Statistics To Know In The Wake Of Its Rapid Growth
Within the past week, the ad-free social media app Vero has taken the internet by storm. Though the app launched in 2015 it remained relatively quiet until February 28, 2018, when it added upwards of 500,000 users in 24 hours.
Vero aims to alleviate the pain points of today’s most popular social media platforms, namely by avoiding non-chronological newsfeeds, data mining of personal information, and ads. Whether the hype surrounding the platform leads to long lasting popularity remains to be seen.
In the following post, we’ll break down the most notable Vero statistics that marketers should know and provide the most up to date Vero information as it becomes available.
1. Nearly 3 Million Users Have Signed Up For A Vero Account.
As of March 1, 2018 Vero reportedly has over three million registered users, tripling its user base in just a day. Vero originally announced that it would be free for life to only its first one million users, a milestone it reached in late February. However, due to the sudden influx of users joining the app, Vero has extended the complimentary offer to all new users until further notice.
A statement on the app’s website reads, “...given the service interruptions, we are extending that offer to all new users until further notice.” Eventually, Vero plans to charge users a nominal subscription fee in order to remain ad-free.

Along with its explosive user growth, Vero has encountered its fair share of software problems. Many have reported difficulty registering for the app or publishing a post.
